The bungalow belt — Portage Park, Jefferson Park, Norwood Park, Garfield Ridge, Beverly — is full of 1920s brick bungalows with full attics that were framed to be finished later and rarely were. Two-flats and three-flats carry a second set of considerations because the work has to account for tenants and separate utilities. Greystones and workers' cottages on the north and west sides need masonry attention as much as interior work.

Do you handle a full project from demolition through finishes?
Yes — that is how we prefer to work. The same company that takes the walls down puts them back up: demolition, framing, mechanical rough-ins, drywall, cabinetry, tile, flooring and finish carpentry. You are not left coordinating six separate trades, and there is no gap between them where responsibility gets lost.
Do you work with investors, landlords and commercial clients?
Yes. Alongside homeowner remodels we take on full gut renovations and new construction for real-estate investors and flippers, work for apartment and multi-unit owners, and commercial build-outs and remodels. Investor projects are scoped around the numbers, with a finish level chosen to match what the property and the market actually call for.
