Our story

A general contractor built for whole projects

Ultimate Touch Home Remodeling, Inc. is a Chicagoland-based general contractor working across the western and southern suburbs and into the city. In the company’s own words, we are a trendy general contractor that transforms deteriorated and outdated interiors and exteriors — for homeowners, real-estate investors, apartment owners and small-business owners alike.

What that means in practice is that we are equipped to handle an entire project from demolition all the way through finishes. Full remodels, kitchens and bathrooms, basement finishing, second-floor and rear additions, new construction, masonry and exterior work — all run by one team on one schedule rather than handed between a demolition crew, a framer, a tile setter and a trim carpenter who have never met.

It is also why so much of the work in our portfolio is structural: taking out a bearing wall to open a kitchen, framing a second story over an existing brick first floor, cutting a slab for a basement bathroom. Those are the projects that change how a house lives, and they are the ones that need a contractor who owns the whole sequence.

What services do you offer?
Full home remodeling, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, basement finishing, home and second-floor additions, new construction, interior remodeling and finish carpentry, exterior work and masonry including tuckpointing, patios and decks, demolition and gut-outs, and damage restoration and rebuilds.
Do you handle a full project from demolition through finishes?
Yes — that is how we prefer to work. The same company that takes the walls down puts them back up: demolition, framing, mechanical rough-ins, drywall, cabinetry, tile, flooring and finish carpentry. You are not left coordinating six separate trades, and there is no gap between them where responsibility gets lost.
Do you work with investors, landlords and commercial clients?
Yes. Alongside homeowner remodels we take on full gut renovations and new construction for real-estate investors and flippers, work for apartment and multi-unit owners, and commercial build-outs and remodels. Investor projects are scoped around the numbers, with a finish level chosen to match what the property and the market actually call for.
Do I need a permit for my project?
Usually, if the work involves structure, plumbing, electrical, or an addition. Every municipality in Chicagoland runs its own review, and the City of Chicago is stricter than most suburbs. We will tell you up front what your village or city will require and handle the permit process as part of the job.
How long will my project take?
It depends on scope, permit review in your municipality, and material lead times — cabinetry in particular drives a kitchen schedule more than the labor does. Rather than quote a generic number, we give you a written scope broken down by trade and a build order, so you can see what happens in which week and which decisions are needed by when.
